Lieberman Software's Random Password Manager has been Certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2008, being the third Lieberman Software application to achieve this certification, distinguishing the company as the vendor with the most certified products for the new server platform. A complete suite of system security management products able to support the secure deployment of Windows Server 2008, can now be offered by the company to its customers.

Philip Lieberman, president of Lieberman Software said: "We consider Windows Server 2008 to be the next major platform for the enterprise". "We are prepared to support this operating system with a complete range of solutions designed to not only run on and manage Windows Server 2008, but every Windows platform since NT."

Lieberman Software began working with Microsoft on Windows Server 2008 product certifications more than a year ago. The certification process is part of the company's strategic initiative to allow its customers a seamless migration to the latest enterprise platforms and continuously evolve its products to support new technologies.

Random Password Manager automatically randomizes local administrator and root account passwords on systems throughout the enterprise, and enables temporary recovery of current passwords via a secure and audited web interface. Randomization can be conducted from a single console for all managed systems according to schedules established by the administrator. This multi-threaded, agentless solution enables delegated control over which local administrator accounts a user can access and for what time period. Random Password Manager prevents unrestricted peer-level access throughout the enterprise, by ensuring that each system maintains unique account credentials.

User Manager Pro and Service Account Manager are other Lieberman Software products that have passed Windows Server 2008 Certification. All three products were displayed at the Microsoft 2008 Launch Wave in Los Angeles on February 27. The company was an exhibitor and sponsor at the Windows Server 2008 launch event. Lieberman Software has been developing products for the Windows platform since 1994, and is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the ISV category that.
