Webmail.us is joining forces with the Email Sender and Provider Coalition (ESPC) and the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (MAAWG). The company is provider of email hosting services to more than 47,000 small, medium, and geographically dispersed businesses. They jonined these two organizations to further its commitment to help the industry fight spam while helping businesses make sure their good emails get delivered. Both organizations are keenly concentrated on the fight against messaging abuse and continuously improving guidelines for legitimate email distribution.
Pat Matthews, chief executive officer at Webmail.us, Inc., stated: "Stopping spam and helping customers with email deliverability have both been a part of our business for a long time. But as the industry matures, it is important for us to align ourselves with those working on similar initiatives. MAAWG and the ESPC bring a wealth of like-minded organizations to the table. We are eager to work with them, learn from them, and hopefully contribute the things we have learned, back to them." Webmail.us has more than eight years of experience in the email hosting industry and currently offers business-class email to more than 480,000 business users worldwide.
Webmail.us also recently launched an email marketing service, a service that offers customers the possibility to send opt-in email newsletters to large groups.
In addition, Matthews said: "Our customers have been demanding this service for a long time. "It goes to show that email is still the preferred form of communication whether the communication is one-to-one or one-to-many. This accentuates the need for organizations like MAAWG and the ESPC and our need to be aligned with them." Webmail.us has been experiencing rapid growth, adding more than 15,000 businesses to its email hosting system in the last four months.
The Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (MAAWG) is where the messaging industry comes together to work against spam, viruses, denial-of-service attacks and other online exploitation. MAAWG (www.MAAWG.org) is the only organization addressing messaging abuse holistically by systematically engaging all aspects of the problem, including industry collaboration, technology and public policy.
Webmail.us, along with its growing community of private-label reseller partners, provides more than 47,000 small, medium, and geographically dispersed companies with corporate email hosting and marketing services.
