Trend Micro announced the latest version of Trend Micro™ ScanMail™ for Microsoft™ Exchange, version 8.0. This new release supports Exchange Server 2007 and earlier versions, continuing to provide businesses proven protection against a multitude of email-borne threats including spam, phishing and viruses, plus inappropriate content. The solution now also includes technology to protect against zero-day attacks, image spam, and for improved web-threat security it includes dedicated anti-spyware as well.

The new version also integrates with Microsoft Operations Manager (MoM) and Microsoft Outlook junkmail folder for even easier management and administration. And the new antivirus stamp in Exchange Server 2007 enables Trend Micro to provide incremental scanning for improved efficiency.
