The multimedia series "The Next Internet Millionaire," promoted by InfoMedia, Inc. will be sponsorized by ScanAlert. The Internet's first Reality Show is created after television shows like Survivor, American Idol and The Apprentice. The Next Internet Millionaire will choose an aggressive business talent to work on a new joint venture with Comm, a Colorado-based online entrepreneur with a string of successful online publishing, retailing and marketing ventures in the past decade. ScanAlert, the Napa, California, data security company behind those ubiquitous HACKER SAFE trustmarks on websites, is well known for helping start-up entrepreneurs become successful using the Internet.
The show creator Joel Comm said: "We are pleased to have ScanAlert as a charter sponsor of The Next Internet Millionaire. Their HACKER SAFE certification service is an important part of any ecommerce security/marketing best practice, so it is a logical fit with the service that we're going to develop with the winner. ScanAlert has a long history of helping entrepreneurs maximize the Internet's profit potential," added ScanAlert Director of Business Development Crest Pillsbury. "We're looking forward to contributing our knowledge, technology and services to the show, giving the winner the best chance at fulfilling his or her dream of becoming an online millionaire."
The producers have already started accepting audition videos from would-be entrepreneurs, 12 of whom will be selected and brought on location for a two-week intensive experience and competition. Filming of the final competition will take place in July and August, with the finished 13-week series airing online in the fall. The winner will be crowned, awarded a generous cash prize, and then really compensated with the opportunity to work side-by-side with Comm on a new venture.
The company secures organizations of all sizes against threats to their network infrastructure and then certifies them to the HACKER SAFE standard -- the world's Internet security benchmark. Offered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution, HACKER SAFE certification is used by more than 80,000 organizations, including well over half of the 500 largest online retailers in the USA. ScanAlert also operates HACKER SAFE Labs, the industry's only research group entrated on ecommerce application safety. More data is available at scanalert.com
