The world leader in cyber intelligence, Cyveillance, recently revealed that Terry Gudaitis, PhD has joined the company as Cyber Intelligence Director. In this role, Dr. Gudaitis will concentrate on the human psychology and security side of malicious Internet threats, leading Cyveillance’s efforts in delivering real-time intelligence and forecasting.
Gudaitis’ responsibilities included coordination and management of the chief scientist, junior and senior analysts, and intelligence collectors as well as direct analytic work related to intelligence found and reported to customers, concentrating on the human elements, the physical impact and the technical impact. Dr. Gudaitis comes to Cyveillance from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where she was Director of Open Source Monitoring Services. At SAIC, Dr. Prior to joining SAIC, she was the Chief of Business Development and Chief Behavioral Scientist at Psynapse Technologies LLC.

Before she joinined Psynapse Technologies, she was the Senior Technical Director at Network Security Corporation and has also held positions as a team member and lead investigator of incident response teams for SAIC, Global Integrity Corporation, and Predictive Systems Inc. Dr. Gudaitis became the only cyber-crime profiler in the commercial information security industry who offered a business differentiator for her incident response teams. Prior to her work as a cyber-crime profiler, Dr. Gudaitis was an operations officer and behavioral profiler at the Central Intelligence Agency (Counter Terrorist Center).
Dr. Gudaitis has served on the United States Secret Service Advisory Board for Insider Threat in addition to her corporate related work, trained investigators at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, regularly presents at national conferences, and has authored articles in numerous security-related journals and books. As a co-founder and co-owner of Mindstar Productions Inc. Dr. Gudaitis has remained an active Board Member since 1995.
