Plaxoft Security Zone Manager is the first internet security tool to unleash the power of Microsoft Internet Explorer security zones. With Security Zone Manager you can easily identify insecure websites and move them to the restricted security zone with just one click. The integrated configuration assistant helps you securing your surfing environment. While you are surfing the web, it lets you confirm any ActiveX usage for websites which are in the default internet zone. Just avoid any contact with viruses or Trojan horses. Security Zone Manager increases your online privacy. You can easily identify advertising providers that place tracking cookies on your PC and move them into the zone for restricted websites. Any features that are a possible security breach like ActiveX, scripting or cookies, are immediately turned off for these sites once you have moved them to the restricted zone. Security Zone Manager lets you detect hidden servers. It looks far behind the html source code to detect all web servers that are used by the current website and allows you to easily manage their security settings. With Security Zone Manager any security thread like ActiveX, scripting, cookies or even automatic font installation, new .NET components or Java applets can be easily avoided. Of course, once you trust your favorite websites to not do any harm, you can move them into the security zone for trusted websites. This way you don't have to confirm usage of e.g. ActiveX for these safe websites any more. Once you have moved the websites you are visiting into the appropriate security zones, you can safely surf the web without having to worry about viruses or Trojan horses.
