SecureDisc for Rimage was developed for use with Rimage CD/DVD production systems, and is endorsed by Rimage Corporation - the leading worldwide manufacturer of automated CD/DVD production and printing systems. SecureDisc is the only commericial software that provides automated encryption for Rimage systems, or any other disc production environment. The new version of SecureDisc allows any organization to produce high capacity discs for distribution, while controlling access to sensitive, confidential, proprietary or classified data stored on the discs. The foundation of of SecureDisc is a powerful encryption plug-in program that utilizes the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit algorithm to encrypt images and issue user decryption keys. Once an encrypted image is written to disc, only a user with the SecureDisc decryption software and decryption key will be able to access the contents that was protected. SecureDisc for Rimage automatically encrypts data prior to recording. It works as a plug-in with Rimage Production Server software.

Some of the key features are:

- Requires no previous experience with data security or disc production
- Automatically records encrypted ISO-9660 and UDF images
- Encrypts CDs and DVDs using AES 256-bit algorithm
- Free decryption software
- Hardware support
- Does not require specialized media to function properly

In addition Global Technologies Group, Inc. (GTGI) announces the integration of their SpanDisc software and SecureDisc for Rimage software. This new bundle has capabilities that no other product offers. Named SpanDisc+, the product automatically writes an encrypted backup of large files, an entire hard disk, or mapped network drive to DVD, when used with a Rimage disc publishing system. SpanDisc+ streamlines DVD production through an easy-to-use interface and automatically produces an encrypted set of DVDs. The program allows job submission via Windows scheduler, and does not require the use of specialized media. The program is available at an introductory price of $5995.00, through April 30, 2007.

Some of the key features are:

- Automatically records contents of an entire hard disk or mapped network drive
- Automatically spans content across multiple discs
- Folder and file structure and integrity are preserved
- Automatic job scheduling
- Direct-to-disc permanent, full-color printing that rivals silkscreening
- Free SecureDisc decryption software
