Real time web data analysis service for financial services companies was launched by Identity Cops to prevent mass data breaches leading to identity theft. Named "IDENTI-FI", the new service scans web based data for an institution's unique information patterns and data signatures that may indicate mass data theft or client identity theft. The tool is a financial services industry software suite that helps protect banks, credit unions, insurance companies and brokerage houses by scouring the Internet "Undernet" for hacked or stolen corporate data.

Identity Cops' Chief Technology Officer and Privacy ProBot inventor, said: "In today's world institutions need an early detection method to discover mass data theft or client identity theft. With IDENTI-FI real time detection, institutions can protect themselves and their clients from electronic criminals who hack corporate data repositories and who steal billions of pieces of valuable data that can be used for identity theft."

The company gathered millions of elements of criminally exchanged information that may already be indicative of mass data theft of credit card numbers, social security numbers, medical data, and other highly personal data. The new service can protect their good names, their clients, and meet or exceed regulatory compliance. With this technology, an institution's product and service offerings are hardened proactively as the financial Internet "Undernet" is continuously monitored electronically in real time. As an option for organizations that work with law enforcement, data thieves can be located, tracked, and provided "poisoned" data for a more accurate and rapid apprehension.

1 in 5 Americans are victims of Identity Theft. On average it costs $5,000 and 200 hours to attempt to repair an identity theft incident. More serious identity theft can mean years of ruined credit, enormous losses of property, and even your arrest for crimes committed by a thief.

Identity Cops Inc. is the company with the only software that prevents identity theft and gives subscribers control of their personal and private financial, medical, insurance, and family information. The ompany has a patent pending proprietary web-based technology named "Privacy ProBo" which searches hundreds-of-thousands of public and private electronic databases as well as the "nefarious internet underground," preemptively and proactively identifying potential security breaches and offering remedial options. Privacy ProBot is self-learning and works in real-time. It is the only truly proactive personal information management and identity theft prevention technology available on the market.
