ParetoLogic, developers of popular security software applications such as ParetoLogic Anti-Spyware, XoftSpySE, and RegCure Registry Cleaner, have released their newest security and optimization tool, ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. Developed to thoroughly erase unwanted and unnecessary files, this software is ideal for both personal and business use, shredding files to U.S. Military standards. Unique in its ability to address even the most current applications such as Internet Explorer 7, Skype, DivX, and BitTorrent, ParetoLogic Privacy Controls can erase all traces of Internet activity, instant messaging, image, music, and video files. "Computer users are increasingly concerned with the confidentiality and security vulnerabilities inherent in online use, file sharing, and the retention of electronic files," comments Don Wharton, Co-Founder and COO of ParetoLogic, "Realizing that "delete" simply removes the pointer to the file and does not remove it from the hard drive, computer users need privacy control software that is comprehensive and current." Reports of breaches of confidentiality and security, including the theft of credit card and banking information, has spurred on consumer interest in the secure removal of electronic files and tracking cookies. Business owners and IT Managers also have cause for concern regarding the security of sensitive information, financial information, and security passwords and codes stored in permanent and temporary files on company PCs and laptops. Recognizing that anyone who has access to an employee's computer can access this confidential information, enterprise customers are seeking out sophisticated means of permanent removal of electronic files, such as ParetoLogic Privacy controls. "It's important that people realize that it really is very easy for a third party to access their electronic information. Coworkers, employees, friends, family, computer repair technicians…the list is endless. Even choosing to donate or sell your computer or hard drive can result in the exposure of your confidential information, and computing and Internet activities. Think of the implications that this reality presents," warns Wharton. About ParetoLogic-Sophisticated technology married with a truly user-friendly interface, ParetoLogic products empower people to secure and optimize their own computers. Available in eight languages in 70 countries around the world, ParetoLogic has established partnerships on a global scale to ensure that its products are available to all computer users, regardless of location, language, or computing experience. Attention to the needs of the consumer coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional software applications and resource-rich websites guarantee that our products will exceed your expectations.

Paretologic Privacy Controls has major problems. Installed this software on my computer and ran it using default settings. It shredded my entire music library in less than 2 minutes Great software wouldn't you say. Every music file in my library was shredded never to be recovered again, shredded for ever. This product is bad news and the company support staff denied their product had problems.
