The leading IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) provider for middle market organizations, TruArx, announced that it has licensed the Unified Compliance Framework (UCF) for use with its TruComply Software-as-a-Service suite. Clients will now be able to use TruComply to manage their compliance with over 400 regulations.
The UCF harmonizes IT controls from over 400 international regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines into a single hierarchal framework, and, organizations, as a result, can easily identify common control requirements across multiple regulations, enabling them to better leverage the policies, processes, and technology and to establish a single, streamlined cost-effective plan to achieve continuous compliance across the enterprise.
Some of the more common regulations and guidelines covered by the UCF include: Basel II, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Gramm-Leach-Bliley, NASD Manual, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), HIPAA, FERC Security Program, Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), FIPS 191, GAO Financial Audit Manual, IRS Revenue Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Robert Capinjola, president of TruArx declared: "We're excited to incorporate the UCF into TruComply." He added: "Between its comprehensive coverage of over 400 regulations and its extensive quality assurance process including legal review, the UCF is the most authoritative source of compliance data in the industry. Our clients will now receive enterprise class compliance management capabilities at a fraction of the cost of competitive products."
