The Open Source document management system KnowledgeTree has been downloaded over 300,000 times from the well-known Open Source portal, SourceForge.Net.

    The health of an open source community is determined, alongside file downloads, by the number of active community participants. The KnowledgeTree Open Source project is hosting over 50 community projects on its "forge", a community management and hosting system. These projects range from language packs to feature extensions for the core document management module. The number of supporters to core application code has also been growing with the KnowledgeTree core engineering team accepting regular contributions, from bug-fixes to new features, from many community members.
