According to the recent agreement signed between ioimage and AASSET, the second will serve as a distributor of ioimage solutions in France. Since the agreement went into effect, AASSET has carried out a large number of small, medium and large ioimage-based security installations at major military, transportation, logistics, infrastructure, and industrial sites. ioimage is the pioneer of intelligent video appliances ment for simplicity, and AASSET Security is a leading European manufacturer and distributor of CCTV and other security solutions and products.

The solution at Cadarache offers perimeter protection, thereby meeting the stringent demands of the security-sensitive nuclear research center. At RATP, trip-wire intrusion detection technology is utilised against graffiti vandalism. The ioimage solution for Nexans replaces previously used infrared barriers in order to protect key manufacturing facilities and equipment from theft and vandalism. Leveraging AASSET's proven track record, rich expertise and satisfied customer base with ioimage's leading line of cutting-edge security solutions, the partnership has led to a large number of important deployments in France thus far. The two firms have teamed up to install security systems for leading French organizations including Nexans, a global expert in cables and cabling systems, RATP, the Parisian mass transit authority, and the nuclear research center Cadarache, one of Europe's largest energy R&D centers.

René Scetbon, Business Development Director of AASSET, stated: "By partnering with ioimage, we have boosted our security offering to clients throughout France. ioimage's line of intelligent video products - which is suitable for large, medium and small installations - fits perfectly with our commitment to cater to any organization looking to enhance its security."

Zeev Farkash, VP Sales and Customer Services, added: "Our agreement with AASSET Security represents another step in ioimage's continued expansion across the globe. As a leader in the French CCTV market, AASSET understands the country's security landscape, and is ideally positioned to represent us. We have already embarked on a large number of successful projects together, and are focused on keeping up the momentum already created throughout France.

AASSET offers a range of cutting-edge security products including intelligent video analytic products, IR LED lighting products, ANPR systems, DVRs, UTP data transmission systems and anti-vandal domes. AASSET's customer base includes leading enterprises such as the Société Générale banking group and Air France, as well as prominent public-sector organizations and institutions such as the Paris airports authority and Louvre Museum.
