    The two companies, Identropy, Inc. and Earthling Security, Inc. announced today that they have entered into an agreement. Identropy will acquire Earthling Security, an identity management and information security company. Identropy that offers identity management delivery services will bolster their delivery team by expanding an already deep knowledge base in the identity management arena.

    Victor Barris, CEO of Identropy, stated: "This acquisition both enhances our technical delivery team, while providing us relationships in the government sector. Earthling's identity management delivery team consists of industry veterans, and we are looking forward to them joining our team."

In addition, Yusuf Ahmed, chief executive officer of Earthling, said: "We are very excited about joining the Identropy team. Together, we believe we can establish a leadership position in the identity management market. Identropy's rapid delivery appliance, iRim, will allow our consultants to quickly and efficiently deliver robust identity management solutions to our clients."

The blend of Earthling's technical talent and Identropy's proven rapid identity management delivery technologies will offer clients efficiently deploy identity solutions, and help them to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.

    The iRim appliance is pre-loaded with vendor Identity Management (IdM) software, a workflow library and a pluggable architecture that allows clients to quickly validate IdM platform sales promises. Since iRim is pre-configured with common identity management scenarios, client corporate data and business processes can be quickly integrated in order to rapidly deliver an Identity Management solution.

    Identropy is a security & identity management consultancy, with extensive expertise in aligning business processes to technology and deploying identity management solutions. The company package allows for rapid integration of identity management systems based upon well-established security principles, decreasing deployment time by up to 30%.
Identropy has developed products and services in its quest to perfect the process of Identity Management platform delivery. Identropy uses the iDeploy implementation methodology in order to ensure the successful delivery of Identity Management platforms. They have translated iDeploy principles into our iRim and iCollaboration applications - thereby providing rapid-delivery and structured collaboration to Identity Management deployments.

    The second company, Earthling Security, provides a range of data security engineering and integration services for both local and wide-area networks. Their services include information security policy writing, network security design & review, penetration testing and identity management.
