Gary Thomassen Apoointed as Vice President of Enterprise Products by RuleSpace

The appointment of Gary Thomassen as vice president of enterprise products was announced by a global leader in OEM URL categorization databases and real-time web page analysis technology, RuleSpace LLC. Thomassen ensure continued market share expansion in the Internet and web security URL filtering market and will drive product strategy.

Thomassen's career and experience in the Internet security market spans over 18 years. He regularly speaks on security issues at industry events and in the media. Thomassen held, most recently, the position of Vice President, Product Management at a leading mobile security software vendor, AdaptiveMobile. Thomassen was responsible, prior to AdaptiveMobile, for product management and product marketing for MessageLabs' flagship Email and Web hosted security products. Thomassen held, earlier in his career, senior level business development and product management positions in North America and the EMEA region at Citrix, ClearSwift, Sophos and Symantec.
