A woman-owned electronics recycler, Turtle Wings, expands in mid-Atlantic and North East. Including classified materials, the certified data destruction division, Data Killers, now offers both on-site and off-site shredding of hard drives and back-up tapes.These days, Turtle Wings Electronics Recycler seems to be all over the place.
Coinciding with a number of Earth Day activities, in April, Turtle Wings held collection events in conjunction with WRNR Annapolis, Reston Association, Potomac School, Whole Foods, and Cox Communications. Turtle Wings executives have been featured speakers at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments and at the Sustainable Business Network of Washington.
With a no e-waste landfill policy that facilitates the reuse and recycling of electronics, Turtle Wings is a woman-owned company. Data Killers is a division of Turtle Wings that provides certified data destruction services to nationwide customers. Data Killers holds the federal government contract for destroying data and can shred and/or degauss any type of hard drive, blackberry, thumb drive, back-up tape, or cell phone. Data Killers provides both on-site and off-site data destruction services and can destroy up to and including classified materials.
