An expert in protection of corporate information from internal treats, Zecurion, Inc, announced the availability of Zlock 2.0. Controlling user access to peripheral devices and computer ports, this software-based system protects mid- to larger size companies from data leakage. New functionality of Zlock includes shadow copying of files copied to peripheral devices, closer integration with Windows Active Directory, and extended log and event management functionality.
Usability for the larger companies is added with the new features of Zlock 2.0. The system deployment and distribution of access policies now can be done ether via Zlock management console or using Windows Active Directory tools. Shadow copying of files leaving the corporate network through peripheral devices adds a layer of control even for the power users with the broadest permissions. These shadow copies are stored for analysis by IT or security officer.
New flexible logging and event management functionality adds scalability to the recording and subsequent analysis of events, to help identify potential internal threats at an early stage. Among logged events there are access to peripheral devices and changes to the access policies.CEO of Zecurion, Alexey Raevsky, commented: "Zlock 2.0 was created after a thorough analysis of requests from our bigger customers. We have added ease of deployment and greater control for all aspects of user interaction with peripheral devices". "With this new product we hope to shift the balance in our client base from the midsize to larger companies."
