To permit users of the company's AssureSign Electronic Signature Technology to easily integrate the technology into their existing business processes, AssureSign® LLC has unveiled its DocumentNOW™ XML Interface Facility. AssureSign customers, with DocumentNOW, submit information digitally for insertion into a document and process the document for signature. The service, in essence, allows them to send data over the Internet to manage the submission and data content of an AssureSign document.
Chief executive officer of AssureSign LLC, David W. Brinkman, said:
"Our customers who need to imbed the management of document submission, tracking and data input into their own business processes are amazed at the ease and convenience of DocumentNOW". "They can exchange information using XML messages over the Internet and don't even have to log onto our AssureSign client Web portal to set up a document for digital signature."
Secure Web services for controlling several processes that are part of AssureSign Electronic Signature Technology are provided by DocumentNOW. These include status checking documents in process, establishing expiration dates for documents, establishing signatories for documents, setting up a document for signature with specific parameters for signatories, viewing the history of electronic signature transactions, and accessing available document templates.
Documents can be launched for signature with a "push button" on the user's Web pages, or they can be launched automatically from the user's computer systems, after having been set-up for signature procurement through DocumentNOW.AssureSign Electronic Signature Technology is a web-hosted service that facilitates the managed processing of documents in an all-digital, high-security environment. Forensically identifiable evidence of contractual acceptance with digitized electronic signatures that can be matched for authentication in much the same way as a traditional signature is provided by the patent-pending electronic signature software provides.
That's because AssureSign creates a digital representation of the act of signing using a unique encryption process that provides its customers with the utmost protection. Being seamless and immediate, the sequence yields one of the most comprehensive service-based, electronic, hand-written signatures on the market today.
Brinkman said users have a complete forensic audit trail of the delivery and signing process, since the entire AssureSign Electronic Signature Process is tracked digitally. Thus, they know exactly when documents are received, when they are signed and who has or has not signed them. This unique feature allows users to expedite the signing process with additional follow-up by phone or email as needed. AssureSign gives clients, in this way, control over the total signing process.
