Paul Carman was promoted to the position of director of sales engineering by Intellitactics. Carman will provide critical leadership in supporting pre-sales activity of the direct sales organization and the domestic and international partners, reporting directly to Kevin Carr, Intellitactics vice president of international sales. Having most recently served as the director of product management for Intellitactics Security Manager, the optimal enterprise security management solution for highly capable companies and government agencies around the world, Carman is uniquely suited for this position.

Carman will determine the sales organization's pre-sales initiatives and programs, and be responsible for ensuring that all customer-facing members of the team are capable and prepared to assist customers in selecting the right products to achieve their security management objectives. In addition, Carman will collaborate with product management, marketing, post-sales services, and training to refine existing and define new programs to support the company's solution-based approach to sales consulting.

Kevin Carr, vice president of international sales for Intellitactics said: "Paul Carman is a veteran of the security management market". "He brings the rare combination of business, product management, and technical expertise to the position and is able to evaluate a customer's needs from both a business and engineering perspective. Paul's understanding of the market and years of experience in product management here at Intellitactics, combined with his detailed knowledge of the features and functions of the Intellitactics products and the business value they provide, will help sales to fully leverage the Intellitactics' products in the marketplace."

Paul Carman, director of sales engineering at Intellitactics comments: "Intellitactics has established itself as a pioneer in the security management industry". "Today, Intellitactics prides itself on basing many new product capabilities on the demanding requirements of organizations in both the commercial and public sectors. We are committed to the success of our customers and this is an excellent opportunity for me to leverage my product management expertise and deep product knowledge to highlight the value of the Intellitactics feature set to the available market. Customer satisfaction begins before the sale is made - it's the starting point for ensuring that customers obtain greater value from their Intellitactics investment."

Carman brings more than 15 years of industry experience in enterprise security and network management to Intellitactics. He helped found one of the first security event management companies in the information security industry, prior to joining Intellitactics, and grew the company through leadership across many roles, including technical product manager, senior director of research and development, and director of professional services. He holds an MBA and BA from Florida Institute of Technology.
