The fact that Kansas City Life Insurance Company has selected CRYPTO-Shield, two-factor authentication technology from CRYPTOCard has been announced by a leading provider of Two-factor authentication technology, CRYPTOCard.

Kansas City Life Insurance Company, established in 1895, markets individual life, annuity and group products through general agencies located throughout the United States. Serving 48 states and the District of Columbia, the company’s home office staff includes more than 500 associates and it has agency force of more than 1,400 agents. Kansas City Life Insurance Company insures more than half a million policyholders from coast to coast.

For a number of its employees, Kansas City Life Insurance Company depends on remote access, and recognizes that traditional passwords are not secure enough to protect mission-critical data.
Combining to offer Kansas City Life the lowest possible total cost of ownership and highest achievable security, the company subsequently selected CRYPTOShield for its ability to work within a multi-vendor environment and the unique features of its software and tokens.

Senior Vice President, North America and Products, CRYPTOCard, Bill Laham, declared: "CRYPTOCard works on the premise that customers want simple solutions. Our customers need not worry about rigid upgrade processes as their IT environments evolve, nor should they concern themselves with 'clock-watching' hardware that is set to expire". "We have designed our offering to make password management and policy administration a simple process. Many customers have significant investments in their IT infrastructure and our goal is to help them keep their environment untouched and intact."

Beatty added: "I have had nothing but great experiences with CRYPTOCard. When I call, I get a real person, not a voicemail maze. Furthermore, I get every issue solved immediately. I like the company's responsiveness and the personal touch".
