NetClarity Auditor integration will be available in early July for the Avocent DSView® 3 software to enable quick and easy alerting, blocking and correcting of Data Center Security and IT related regulatory compliance issues. NetClarity, Inc today announced that it has teamed up with Avocent® Corporation. PrivacyRights.org reports that there have been over 110,000,000 records lost or stolen from Networks and Data Centers, worldwide. As a result, Data Center managers face serious Security and IT Compliance issues. Lately, in a survey funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, USCERT found that 95% of these network security breaches are a direct result of an exploit against a known vulnerability. Research by MITRE shows that properly deployed Vulnerability Management solutions dramatically reduce risk of network downtime, information breaches, data leakage and regulatory compliance issues.
Gil Roeder, Chairman & CEO, NetClarity, Inc., stated: "Integrating with Avocent's DSView 3 software will allow customers to enjoy a faster, easier way to manage Data Center Security and IT Compliance. Now, DSView 3 software can manage the award winning Auditor Enterprise and Auditor Branch appliances with a few clicks of the mouse, helping Data Center managers keep a closer eye on their critical assets to increase uptime, protect against data leakage and document compliance. We look forward to working with Avocent for a successful partnership, and plan to work jointly to develop programs that will help launch our unique, combined offering."
In addition, Steve Geffin, VP Product Management, Avocent Corporation, stated: "We are enthusiastic about integration and bundling opportunities between our DSView 3 management software and the NetClarity security and compliance offerings for Data Center managers. We strive to lessen the complexity of IT management, and our customers value being able to solve critical security and compliance issues in the same system they use to manage their data center equipment.
