Neing now available in stores for USD 29.95, the price for O&O DiskImage 3 Professional Edition has been reduced by almost 40%. For USD 19.95, an upgrade from a previous version or any currently competing product is available. Additional versions of O&O DiskImage 3 with network management capabilities will also be released shortly.
The new O&O DiskImage 3 Professional Edition allows you to run time-scheduled data imaging of entire systems as well as individual drives: this means you can now schedule data imaging to be performed automatically on a regular basis. The image can be restored and, in cases of system failure, the system will once again be operable, if ever data loss occurs. Reports are provided which will give you detailed information about the jobs you've run. To maintain an overview of all activities, information such as the files you've excluded from the image or the kind of imaging method used will make it easier.
The O&O DriverLoader enables you to load drivers that might not be normally available when starting. Your computer will be scanned for all available hardware components when it's booted from the CD. It will be displayed and the user will then be able to load it from a USB Stick, a CD or any other storage volume, if a standard driver be missing for any component that is identified. The range of Windows drivers available in O&O DiskImage 3 has also been extended.
With an encryption level of up to 256 Bit, the AES algorithm in O&O DiskImage 3 Professional Edition protects imaged data from unauthorized access. The image can only be restored when a password is entered. So that images take up even less space, the compression process in Version 3 has also been optimized.
